“Work like it all depends on me. Pray like it all depends on God.”
– Chris Hogan

Sandra M. Arnold, a CPA since 1996 and in accounting, both public and private, since 1989. Sandra started in public accounting, working part-time for multiple CPA firms through college before becoming full time at Perry & McCain, later known as Perry, McCain & Boyd. After the birth of her son, born 4/22, just 7 short days after tax season ended, she left public accounting and the long hours of tax season to work in private accounting at U.S. Foodservice, ICI, Four Seasons and 54 Lawn & Garden. Then, on 4/1/2015, she decided to go back into public accounting at Sullivan & Greer. She became a partner in 2019, but in December of 2021, she decided to start her own CPA firm. She has experience in various industries, including professionals, i.e. doctor and dentist profession, retail and service industry, rent-to-own business, restaurant industry, and many other businesses too numerous to list. Her favorite parts of her career are #1-training and educating clients to understand the numbers in their business and to comprehend how to better manage their accounting to meet tax deadlines and #2-preparing financials and reconciling a set of books that she received in a “hot mess” and there have been several along the way. She loves the challenge and there is nothing more satisfying than helping clients see their full potential and giving them the tools and knowledge to be successful bookkeepers for themselves. Her favorite quote from clients is, “Just keep me out of jail.” And she has heard it many times. She tells clients: “I will do as much or as little as you want me to do.” Sandra has been married to Kenny since 1989 and they have one child, whose name is Daniel. Sandra attends church at TVCC, where she has been since its inception in August 2000. She is a UK fan and her favorite Nascar driver is Chase Elliott. She is also passionate about leading others, especially ladies, into a deeper knowledge of God and His Son, Jesus through teaching Precept Upon Precept Bible studies and finance classes. She is very excited about the opportunity to begin teaching Financial Peace University and QuickBooks classes to the people of McKenzie and surrounding areas at her new building which has a GREAT classroom-type setting. Watch for details AFTER tax season!
